About Ramon

I've been drawing for as long as I can remember, and I got really good at drawing stick figures! As a child in the 1960s, I wanted to be a fashion designer, but Hispanic culture at the time prevented me from pursuing that dream. My main inspiration now comes from artists of the 1950s and from the fashion of the 1950s-1970s.

In 2004, I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from the School of Architecture. I later went on to earn a Master of Business Administration degree in 2011. After completing my BS degree, I worked full-time as an Assistant in a commercial art gallery, a job I loved because I was surrounded by creative people.

Fast forward to March 2024, when I was diagnosed with Leukemia and had to stop working. During my treatments and breaks, I became and still am obsessed with YouTube videos. Especially videos involving drawing, kitbashing, and especially art dolls and doll customization videos. In 2004, I began working with digital media and discovered that I really liked it! I also enjoy painting with acrylics. All of these experiences led me to create my own website to print, sell, and ship my own artwork.
